I think being a fitness instructor is really liek any other career a person wishes to do well in. You have to give a little bit more. I know yself that the job is much more than simply a 9-5 job. Interesting stuff.
I think being a Gym Instructor is the funnest and most rewarding career. In the Gym, people look towards you as a role model and someone thats been through the excercises, supplements and programs. This is the fun part, people come up to me and generally ask me what supplement or product they reccomend, the Gym Owner/Business Establisher would then give me an optional list of Products in which to suggest to the people. As crazy as this sounds, but I dont reccomend his products, I go on the internet and find my own products to recommend. Ofcourse I have to look at products quality, money back insurance, and support. Once Ive veriefied all this, all things go and I get paid a lot more than the owner of the Gym Pays me. This is tricky business and Ive been through so many products that have scammed me, but yeah, if you want that extra money, chase it like I did. Fitness Instructors are commonly self-employed or work for one or a number of fitness and health centres. The going rate for a new instructor was $10 per class (hour).
